Jerry Orr

Jerry came to Charlotte Tennis Academy in 2003 after being head tennis professional at Sardis Swim and Racquet Club. Originally from Birmingham, Alabama he obtained a full scholarship to play college tennis for Jefferson State College in Alabama where he worked with Dr. Bullard Moore, coach of 6 national titles in D-2 collegiate tennis. In addition to having a Recreation Management degree Jerry earned umpire and USPTA Professional Teaching certifications in 1991..  His encouraging and energetic teaching style continues to positively impact players of all levels at CTA.

Dennis Myers

Dennis is a native Charlottean who ended his high school career as the North Carolina 4A Singles and Doubles Champion. He competed in several national tournaments as a junior including the USTA National Junior Championships in Kalamazoo, Michigan.  Dennis then went on to play 4 years of college tennis at NC State & UNC Wilmington.  Prior to joining CTA, he taught at the American Yacht Club in New York as the Assistant Tennis Pro.  Through his competitive nature, enthusiasm, and love for the game of tennis, Dennis is a great asset to our players at CTA.
