Level Descriptions

High Performance

Focuses on providing an intense, competitive environment for players who are highly ranked at the state, sectional and national level. Drills, stipulated point play and conditioning are included as well as training in strategy and tactics. The goal for this group is to prepate players for college tennis. 

School Year Options: Tuesday and Thursday 4:30-6:30pm; Saturday 1:00-3:00pm

Tournament Training

For players who have a solid base of fundamental skills and are competing in tournaments at the state or sectional level. The workouts for this group provide an engaging, competitive environment using a variety of drills, stipulated point play, and fitness training.

School Year Options: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 4:30-6:30pm; Saturday 10:00-12:00pm (also Saturday 1:00-3:00pm for our older, yellow ball players)

Player Development

Includes intermediate level players' who are starting to compete in tournaments or play school tennis. We use a curriculum designed to develop sound fundamentals in four areas: technique, footwork, strategy, and mental skills. 

School Year Options: Monday and Wednesday 4:30-6:30pm; Saturday 10:00-12:00pm (also Saturday 1:00-3:00pm for our older, yellow ball players)

Future Stars

Includes players who have acquired basic racquet and rally skills. We focus on developing proper swing paths, movement, and game skills (score keeping, line calls, sportsmanship) in this class. Players in this group start to develop the ability to place the ball and learn basic strategy. 

School Year Options: Monday and Wednesday 4:30-6:30pm; Saturday 10:00-12:00pm

Young Champs

All about learning to rally. We use a series of progressive drills designed to enable kis to play tennis quickly so they can experience the fun of the sport. Both cooperative drills and competitive games are used in a fun, engaging environment in this group. Typically ages 8-10.

School Year Options: Saturdays 9:00-10:00am

Mighty Mites

Geared for young beginners and focuses on the ABCs of sports (agility, balance, coordination), basic racquet skills (controlling a ball with a racquet), and tracking skills (sending and receiving). Beginning age 6.
